    Beautiful place to visit. Just don't recommend coming in on a Good Friday unless you are only in for the show. Attended Good Friday for the second time, and yesterday my son almost fell, lucky i came to secure him. This was because people were busy capturing in video and camera the played theme of the stations of the cross and they were just pushing each other to get the best shot!!! The essence of Good Friday was gone. What happened to prayer and reflection??? So much about being a Catholic!!! What a shame!!!

    Our Lady of Mercy Shrine has grown much since its founding, and now has many other smaller shrines build by pilgrims and devoted to the best loved saints of all over the world. People of many different nationalities come to Penrose Park to visit their shrines for days of prayer. Like this place. Recommended to all Catholics...
